The Departure Poem by Amos Christopherson Masereka

The Departure

We had fun at the last moment
I wished it lasted always
Nothing was possible any longer
Time left us in waste of it
Now we are far and distant and grieved
We will not see each other I don't know
Am so troubled
It makes me think am a failure
But she says am not
If we shall meet once again
Let us live together
Or else we cease to exist
