The Density Of The Dance Poem by Sandi Jug

The Density Of The Dance

I have a filling that poems and songs will sounds in vain.
But the fear is hollow and my love is full.
And there is nothing can be done about it.

But I hear your voice looping all over my head.
Persisting, I can't stop it, you are rolling in my mind.
Breathing your voice, smelling your teeth,
baiting your nails, looking your face.

I've been through your mind so deep.
I know you better then your woman's hip.
And from the density of your dance,
I dance out your density.

The deepest shadows of your being are my playground, where I sing.
I'm a poet, you're a muse, that's how love goes, You don't have to choose.

I always saw you radiant as a star, while cacti acted in your mind.
I never thought you'll be the one, though I recall my footsteps in the sand.

I'm going my way, I'm going strait on.
It's up to you, what will you do.
