The Death Of A Pet Poem by Delphi Arbor

The Death Of A Pet

Rating: 4.5

You feed them and
They don't go after
the food
like they always
do
you tap the
cage
they still don't
move
you end up
having to
lift them
you start screaming
when
they aren't
warm and
heavy
you dig a
hole and put
them in
with their favorite
toy

Yes, I can totally relate to this one. Just yesterday I had to bury my friend Peanut the hamster, along with her little bed. Never gets any easier. Cute poem.
