The Death Is Certain Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Death Is Certain

Rating: 5.0

All of sudden, I fell down
As the ground stones were laid uneven
It was bang sound on ground
I was hit on face and blood spread around

The near by people rushed to help
I was in pain but very much to self
Some of the ladies tied handkerchief on finger
The blood was stopped there after

I feared crack in bones
As there was heavy tone
Of some noise with pain
I lost no composure and remained cool

For a second, I feared for death
Was it going to be last breath?
Some deep anguish ran on face
I was bit worried with some blood rush

This is how the life is talked about!
No one thinks of tomorrow and goes out
It is as uncertain as rainy showers
It is good for earth and only flowers

Well, I was few steps away from eternal sleep
This thought puzzled me and kept
Under strain for few more minutes
I suddenly brushed aside such thoughts

Mishap can take place any time and anywhere
We should not worry about it and have fears
The life has to end either in normal way
Or by an accident that comes to us any way

Final count is neither early nor late
It has fixed seconds, time and date
One may wind up in early age too
But death is certain and that is only truth

How nice! KR BALAKRISHNAN13 minutes ago The crystals of words are transformed into the Time’s youth; and even perhaps made into a perpetual youthfulness. These crystals are effectively thrown here.Nice poem. Comment +1
