The Death Poem by Md. Moniruzzaman

The Death

I perceive the worship of death,
The close observations make me amazed.
While the surroundings need charity;
The worship of dying souls, what a treaty!

The lives are gradually in shield
Under the darkness of hunger;
None look at the fact,
What a surprising act!

Men love lives
But they worship death;
They invent the glory of life in death.
Then what’s the value of life,
When the death deserves more worth than the life.

Death is glorious;
When the death enlightens and candles thousands of lives.
That death I worship,
I worship that death.
This death, I proclaim the immortal birth of dynamic life.

Proud for the life and for the undying soul;
Pray to the mighty Lord for the soul,
Aim to reach the imperishable goal;
From earth to heaven,
From the mortality to the immortality of the soul.
