The Day And The Night Poem by Wang Qian

The Day And The Night

Rating: 5.0

Reaches the white day,
The sun raging fast like a roaring train,
Moves laboringly on a track round,
Sets steps to an endless end.

During the big break of day,
Strange that we always witness the
Stealing eyes of darkness
Peacefully peeping from the corner of loveliness.
When nights creep near,
Delightful that few times we catch
Some laughing rays
Stirred by the spoons of the moonlight fairies.

The day and the night habitually
Make a bargain,
Then keep things marching
Like on the great globe
Happened once nothing.
