The Dawn And The Dusk Poem by Reshma Ramesh

The Dawn And The Dusk

Rating: 3.4

Beyond this dawn is the light of the morning,
before dusk, the songs of the evening,
between the dawn and the dusk, my love,
in the blue hour, my wait for you complete,
i gather you ain't gonna come,
but for you i wait in the twilight colors,
magically, they remind me of the power
and the color in your eyes,
before they leave the skies,
my wait wasted none
for i see you in them
the dawn and the dusk.

a love poem wherein reshma discovers her lover and sweet memories associated with him in every lyrical and musical aspect of nature from dawn to dusk.

This is a beautifully romantic poem about love and longing and the mystery of dawn and dusk. There is a strong spiritual connection in your words of devotion and a fascinating mix of the more lyrical and the more colloquial. 'I gather you ain't gonna com' seemed out of place at first, but on reflection, fits in perfectly to the whole piece. Such a delightful poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
