The Darkness Settles
the darkness settles all around me
like a monster of thick black darkness set out to devour me
the darkness settles
i scream for help but none comes
the darkness settles
i look around franticly trying to find a way out of this waking nightmare
the darkness settles
i give up i let let the darkness settle
the darkness settles
this time like a soft blanket here to comfort me
the darkness settles
and i disappear in a cloud of settling darkness
the darkness settles
do you hear my screaming
the darkness settles
and so do i settle from a sleep that is a sleep no more but a curse from which i will never return
the darkness settles
