The Darkness Poem by Esnala Banda

The Darkness

Rating: 2.0

The darkness engulfs,
Let it take over,
Nothing worht trying for,
No more freedom left in here.

The darkness was beckoning,
Pulling and tugging me,
I gave in to my fear,
I got tired of resisting.

The Darkness comforts me,
Nothing left in the light,
Decided to give up the fight,
What is right? I cannot see.

The Darkness has become me,
My light has gone out,
Feels no different to go without,
Try to Look, but there's no difference you can see.

The Darkness is exhilarating,
Bringing out the bad in me,
Are you scared? You should be,
The Darkness you feel is me.
