The Dark Chocolate Mystery Poem by Tushar Ray

The Dark Chocolate Mystery

My 6-year old granddaughter, Mya
Becomes very hangry these days
Mya is very hungry for the dark-chocolate,
Angry as unable to write her own story on it
So, Hangry Mya asked my cooperation.
Here is my current mission:

During the last few months
Mya has been fascinated by dark chocolate
For its beauty, luster, smell and taste
And at any store she goes with us these days
She looks for dark luster for exploration
So, Grandma bought a dark-chocolate cake
Knowing Mya will be thrilled
Indeed she was yesterday, by all means!

Grandma offered a piece of dark-beauty
On a white plate to create contrasts
And the setting became gorgeous-looking
Mya sitting there calmly started gazing
With very slow breathing for a few moments
Unaware that I was watching her carefully
After deep gazing she rotated the plate
And observed stacked beauty from angles
Then held her nose close to the cake
Smelling deeply for a couple of minutes
Then looked at me while I started eating mine
Mya showing me three layers of her cake
Began defining the top-layer as dark beauty
A genuine one; mid-part and bottom
Though chocolate, mainly decorations
Then added, mid portion is banana flavored
And the bottom-brown for support only

Then Mya started tasting individual layers
And confirmed her initial observations on it
Her face told she deeply enjoyed dark-luster
Then started eating all layers together
With a big smile and typical satiety sound
She went on telling her mystery story
On The Adventure of Dark Chocolate, where
She made the Dark Chocolate a scientist:

Young Dark Chocolate interested in dinosaur
Wanted to visit the site dinosaur lived early
He learnt how to travel backwards in time scale
So he can see live dinosaur in their territory
To travel back in time he devised a mind-auto
That travels as fast as his own mind
In whirlpool like motion controlled by his mind
Then he took off in one fine morning
For famous dinosaur location in African desert

As Black Chocolate travelled backwards in time
He was going high in the sky in his invisible auto
But he could see animals grazing on the ground
He was anxious to see live dinosaurs from above
Sure enough he saw down a baby dinosaur alone
And instantly descended to see what’s going on
The baby dinosaur was lost from his mother
Hearing the story from the crying baby dinosaur
He decided to take baby to his mom by mind-auto
Then he saw countless dinosaurs 50 miles away
Scattered all over a huge hilly desert valley
So they descended on a hill top to locate mom
Below the hill valley-dinosaurs were curious too
Their gossip discovered mother soon to join the baby

Desert valley dinosaurs threw a party honoring both:
Dark Chocolate was guest in chief, baby sat by him
It was a full moon night with a clear desert sky
Next morning moving ahead in time he returned Arizona
And began writing a book that he wishes to finish soon
