The Dance Of An Angel Poem by Brandon Brasher

The Dance Of An Angel

Night, it can be scary to some.
Full of dark corners and shadows everywhere.
The air is cold and brisk with fever of fear.
The not knowing what lies in the depths of the black.
Then you see the sky with its beautiful stars.
It takes the fear and wipes it away.
For those tiny twinkles are of Angel footsteps.
Stop and listen to the music that rides the wind.
Follow the stars as they dance in the sky.
The hum of music brings peace to your ears.
Watching the footsteps of Angels.
Faster and slower at times.
Imagine the sweep of the dresses, the turns.
They are all of our Angels to enjoy.
Your heart fills, your eye glow, its only a shame
night can not last, just remember even in light of the sun.
They are still there dancing and they will always be there.
Our Little Dancing Angels.
