The Dance



ii start out dancing
and what seems to me
seems to be a dream
a dream it seems

i start counting my steps in
1,2, ,3,4,5,6,7,8,
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
again
again
again


as the dream gets worse
i look out to the slient crowd
the slient crownd that once befor me screaming aloud
am i doing good
am i doing fine
all thesse thoughts come racing to my mind

bang gose my fet to the floor clap gose my hands to the air
thump gose my heart as the dreams comes to an end and the slient cround gose to a loud roar

Ava, what a wonderful poem! I love the use of imagery (visual pictures) and auditory (sound) that you used! I enjoy the type of poetry that has a story to it... and you did this very well, capturing the emotion in the moment. Sorry I didn't see this sooner! Thanks for sharing. :)
