The Dance Poem by Adeaze Tinkerbelle

The Dance

Rating: 5.0

Falling gently down, swifter still.
I gaze out my window, and watch the rain fall.

Flying through the screens,
I slip into my beaded dress
Gently falling on my head.
And I begin to dance.

Outdancing all the rest, O' beautiful rain.
Glistening wet on my cheeks
Mixing within the tears.
Falling again and again
On the slippery grass
Floating softly in suspense
Dancing in the clouds,
Watch me dance.

Beaded pearl
glimmering off starry waterfalls
As I dance into the moonlit sky
As I dance throughout the night,
Watch me dance.

Coming quickly back to reality
As I watch the rain,
and miss the dance.
