The Cycle Of A Poets Love Poem by Guy Dimitri Jagodinski

The Cycle Of A Poets Love

Rating: 5.0

We write daily of our feelings or dreams
Never understanding the power of our words
We become involved with fantasy
We leave our real worlds behind
Words of passion and love takes over the heart
We were sure before but now we do not know
Blinded by feelings written on paper
We begin to believe in someone we never met
We take for granted the words we read
Seeking someone who may be real or a fallicy
The journey is not always the perfect ending
Hearts get broken or so they seem
We never see the ending only the beginning
People throw out their problems seeking help
People give their hearts seeking the perfect love
A continuous cycle, tragedies are many
So what do we do as poets
Crumple the old paper and start a new
The cycle revolves never ending
We are poets that is what we do
