The Creek Poem by Zaynah Gatling

The Creek

Rating: 5.0

Down by the creek sat
a girl and her bunny,
a bunny with eyes
a bunny who cries

Down by the creek sat
a girl and her bunny
a bunny with holes a bunny with a soul

Down by the creek sat
a girl and her bunny
a bunny who cared
a bunny who shared

Down by the creek
was a girl
a girl with eyes
a girl who cried

Down by the creek
was a girl
a girl with holes
a girl without soul

Down by the creek
was a girl
a girl who cared
a girl who was scared
Down by the creek
was no pond
no swans

no birds, nor bee's

all alone was a
girl and she was me.
