The Court Of Cassation Poem by Brian Stafford

The Court Of Cassation

Rating: 5.0

There's an illusion of confusion,
in the court of cassation;
When justice meets injustice,
who gets taken for a ride;
Indecisive or decisive,
could be a cunning plan;
Five judges without grudges,
will cast there legal eyes;
To rule or overrule,
should be there only goal;
Will the deluded be eluded,
when seeking right from wrong;
When upper takes on lower,
it's the above who decide;
Will the mistaken be forsaken,
or will they be reprieved;
With intrusion and collusion,
one can only desire;
After much debate and deliberation,
will they make a just decree;
There's confusion in the illusion,
in the court of cassation.
