The Council And The Devil Poem by Dave Alan Walker

The Council And The Devil

Rating: 5.0

They are like poisonous snakes
that never stop biting
etching their venom
deep within your soul

I feel crystallized tears
of my mothers past
like jagged edges
tearing through my flesh

It's like a never ending
time machine going back
to where it all began
like your trapped in the same day
over and over again

Yeah the devil's lure and lair is a horible trap and entrapment, and cud keep one stuck in the mud of wrongful harmful ideas. Aweinspiring poem! Great to read.

A Wonderful poem with in-depth meaning. Beautiful lines... They are like poisonous snakes that never stop biting etching their venom deep within your soul......Very true said in few lines. They are never going to change...They will just keep on trapping others. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poem.
