The Contrary Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Contrary

Contrary

I was saying things,
Contrary to my mother.
I said things,
Contrary to my father.

I yelled out contrary words,
To my small friend.
I yelled out contrary words,
To my tall friend.

But I always agreed with my sweet dog.

LOL, I love the last line. I've always gotten along much better with most dogs than most people.
