The Consequences Of Jealousy Poem by Nichole Kaci McKnight

The Consequences Of Jealousy

A woman name Nan once had a jealous bone.
She was married to a philandering man named Jerome.
One day she came home early from work just to surprise her old man.
She discovered him in their bed, he was having sex with her best friend Ann.
Nan lost her temper in a murderous, jealous rage.
She grabbed a handgun and shot her husband in the rib cage.
She shot Ann twice in the arm and once in her head.
Soon both Jerome and Ann were dead upon the four poster bed.
The police soon arrived and found Nan had shot two people dead.
The moral about this story we all should remember.
That the emotions of jealousy burn like a hot coal ember.
Jealousy and rage can spread like a flaming wildfire.
For Nan the consequences of jealousy were very dire.
