i have forgiven
her,
like the saints
i have to justify

she does not know
what she is saying

she despised the one
i love most
she hates what i like

she is beautiful (but i
honestly think
inside she is horrible
i just can't say it
i do not really know
her to well- but

i have forgiven her
and i like it that way

she is not my love
and i am not the way she
talks

i am not the way she
condemns love and the beloved

i perfectly understand,
she is lost
in the midst of this
honest to goodness
conversation, and were it not


for the man she loves
i could have hit her
with my tongue.
