The Color Of Sunshine Poem by Alex Kenneh

The Color Of Sunshine

Unforgiveable pigment,
That One day, dream intent,
We are blood sport, suspect,
Environment got us violent,
Coroners comfort corners, silent
As swordfights keep guns in sight,
In reach of halo hollowed children,
Rose off shy streets, hero or villain,
Nascent narcissist innocents,
Young Simbas and Nalas remnants,
Scarred reflections, lesser privileges,
Mirror assuage masquerading individuals,
Reneging declaration of pursuits,
Elaborate boundaries, inveterate roots,
Concentrate as street dreams defer,
No doubt or denying blue sky spurs,
Say it loud, speech impairments,
Slave compensation, no reparations,
Dilated people, one complexion,
My black is the Color of Sunshine.

Bold use of language, and amazing use of description, great closing, a really nice read.
