The Chronicles Of A New Day Part 6 Looking On Your Eyes Poem by David Knox

The Chronicles Of A New Day Part 6 Looking On Your Eyes

Ambivalence, it seems is given unconditionally
blinds those who see
with both negative
and positive
its hard to live
in indecision like this
i miss
the old me
the one who lived happily
back when i hated to write and rhyme
and foolish ambitions of mine were just a waste of time
clouds blanketing my sky
sun and moon ready to lie
behind them to hide
only those above can see
the remnants of me
i have already tried
but when i looked at you i learned something new
something like falling in love with you
now ambivalence and its malevolent reign has begun the reign
blankets my sky
