The Children

THE CHILDREN
They are the spring season,
With lovely smile and candor,
Sprung from the eternal belief,
That abounds this universe;
Never getting tired of living!
The marvel of god's creation-
They are the salvation of us
Nurturing faith and hope
With their blush of innocence*
The truth in their deep heart
Blooms into the fragrance
Of eternal beauty and duty
To enrich this world into
The very heaven we believe.

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone.
