The Child Inside Of Me Poem by Amy Louise Kerswell

The Child Inside Of Me

This child inside of me.
Is lost scared and alone.
She is hurt and abused.
She must not tell.
Bad things will happen if she did.
So She kept stum.
Never did tell a soul.

Not untill it was over
Then the next lot
Would begin
By a new person.

The child inside of me
She never could tell.
Bad things would happen.
People would think
It was her fualt.

The child inside of me is lost
She is hurt angry and afraid.
Shes been to hell and back
And only spoke
When it was too late.

Now in adult form
She wishes
Shed spoke
She wishes she didnt keep quiet
And spoke the first time
And didnt let it go on
She is to blame
It was my fault
I should of spoke
