I saw an angel last night
With a genuine smile
I tried to hold him tight
But he flew away a thousand miles

A long time past
I try to forgot
But still the magic he cast
Doesn't seem to run away fast

It haunted me, day and night
That angel visited me, only sole
With that smile and eyes that might
Captured my heart and soul

It causes pain and tears
I don't know why
Should I cry
For that angel who visited me last night
