The Change Poem by Chris Leermakers

The Change

If All The Pieces Are Gathered
And Put Together To Fit
Sometimes The Puzzle Of Life That Remains
Is Dark And Cannot Be Lit
For Time Is Spent On Searching
The Things We Cannot Find
Time Is Lost And Then Forgotten
In The Labyrinth Of Our Mind
Curious In Our Nature
We Set Out To Explore
Wonder How Things Happen
Always Wanting To Know More

No Stone On Earth Escapes
The Clutches Of Mans Greed
Earth, Where He Lives And Rapes
Is Devoured At Lightning Speed
Progress They Call It
Breeds Destruction,
Even Confusion
Our Orbs Need Redirecting
To Enable Us Salvation

For The Elite
Have Wealth And Power
That Try To Turn Us Into Robots
We Must Respect And Uphold
Unjust Laws That Govern Us
That At Times Are Waived
Ignored
To Suit Those At The Top
We All Maybe Puppets
But Some Can See The Strings

We Are Still Just Like Little Fish
In The Sea
Brought Into It Without Choice
By Another Civilization
That Never Hears
Never Heard Our True Voice
Some Day,
THE CHANGE Might Come
But Until Then,
Realize That None Of It
Truly Exists
This I have to To Say My Friends
Only To Find That Once We're Truly Awake,
We Shall As Monads
Have Eternity To Create.
