The Change
She was a child, a girl
Curious to know about every oyster and pearl,
Full of questions and quests,
Like any other child prospect!
She knew her way, clear and bright
And saw everything in black and white.
Then the child-girl grew...
She saw the world with sparkling eyes
First dazzled, then baffled, bewildered and lost..
For the girl who saw in black and white
Now saw everything in coloured lights!
