The Caravan Poem by Heather Burns

The Caravan

Rating: 5.0

THE CARAVAN

The caravan of life
moves slowly, silently
toward its destination

the journey appears
smooth
suddenly it encounters
a snag

throws a clog in the
wheels
making travel weary

winds whip up a storm
tearing at sand castles
built long ago
eyes become blurred

the gypsy gazes into
her crystal ball
foresee the future
the caravan moves on.

Beautiful write Heather. Very true said, Caravan moves on, though the journey had to be stopped for a while, but it resumes again....Loved reading it. One of the facts of life! !

I really like this beautiful write, with wisdom and our fate in God's hands along the journey, as we try to keep moving forward whatever the obstacles!

Caravan moves on. Minor hindrances only result in temporary stops. A very positive poem. Thank you.
