The Buddha, Above The Destruction
Buddha was not hit when his mammoth icon was hit.
Buddha did not weep when his antique stone was split.
He never advocated that he would live in idols.
You, the hitter, wounded your fist,
And in the process wiped the legacy.
[The fundamentalists of Afghanistan damaged the statue in fury]
