The Brain Poem by Edward Webb

The Brain

the Brain, in stature,
within; nature sits,
unique in self-aware,
within; a creature,
to whom it is a pair.

It assumes, making its position, within its universe of light;
this is its truth but is the brain but right,
is it but blinded by the divine light,

could being self aware; though to ones delight,
be even more than containment in divine right.

the brain in you sits, in the universe, contained within.
or does the universe sit in the brain, found in,
this universe is conceived; on the brains belief, and maintained
uncertainty, the reality ;
is not all, what is retained.
but is a stream of thought of what is believed.

so a universe rescinded,
within brain of a mind,
the self -aware becoming from universe,
untwined,
brings so death of the universe
that this brain cant find.
