The Boy Loved Windmills Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Boy Loved Windmills

Rating: 5.0

The little boy loved windmills
They always made him smile
He spent his free time searching
So he could study them awhile

Clockwise they would go
And it meant the day was fine
Because this kid loved windmills
He learned early to tell time

Fascination with windmills
Carried on through his days
The fact he loved them so
Was never just a faze

And still he carries onward
In the quest to find each one
Cause snapping photos of windmills
Brings him so much fun

So now, folks when we see them
The windmills John loves best
We can appreciate every one
Like a lover’s sweet caress!
