The Boy I Once Was
It's been so long
Since things went all wrong
I feel the pain inside
Inside…
Where there is nowhere to hide
I feel the pain again
I feel the cold again
I feel slain again
I feel so old again
Life is so empty
How do I find something
In nothing?
Youth's gone
Troubles dawn
And I'm left alone
Confused and thrown
Naked in the dark
Damp and stark
I am but an empty shell
Of the Boy I once was.
