The Blue Balooga Poem by Jason Murak

The Blue Balooga

Take me to the Blue Balooga, where the ice makes clashing sounds
Shotgun shells and soda pop cans litter all the ground
The moose are here, here they'll stay for an ever-lasting sleep
The moose are here, here they'll stay for an ever-lasting sleep

Our boat has come a'shore
Come along, come one, come all
Out by Point Mackenzie, the greatest times of all
We can descend the cliff and look way out to the
Bright Bright city lights
Just take my hand and lets look out to the Bright Bright city lights

The Blue Balooga, has come a'shore
Come along come one come all
Down that ridge we go, we're gonna have a ball
Grab my hand, lets look out to the Bright Bright city lights
Jump aboard, Jump aboard, The Blue Balooga's taken flight
