The Blond Maid Poem by Aravind Suresh

The Blond Maid

1. The Hall

The daylight burned the hall,
The hall yet dead and sleeps,
On and on,
Matter what,
The hall will sleep the sleep of the dead.
No matter you make it a dance floor,
It doesn't feel the most violent throw of the Hardest Rock.
Night will fall soon,
The shadows of the glittering moonlight will be the blankets, and the couch thy pillow.
The mornings will burn the hall,
And the blankets fade away and Thy sleep is over,
Yet the cold breeze that blew through the grilled windows,
Can't wake you from your spell,
Which none knows which witch?

2. Playtime

When the time is neither night nor day,
Braces on my legs and cuffs on my hands break free,
When I can jump out and play,
Down the road will things await?
Chances, Pranks and Pranksters,
Here and there and there and here will things wait?
Clear my way,
Clear my way,
Steer clear of my way,
Dusk is better than the shadows of the moon,
And the Sun hurts my eyes and skin.

3. Breeze

A breeze blew into the class where,
Everything seemed so boring,
But the breeze bought me luck from the sea,
Fresh as the morning air that blew,
The breeze dosed me of enough luck,
For the rest of day to last,
The breeze blew from the sea for sure,
Does a fairy live deep down in the blue?
Well I can't find that till I chase my most recent dream,
I hope I don't come up with something to make for my old dream,
Because this is all I want,
Because this is my last and loving promise.

4. Gloom

Gloom might affect even in ways you don't even know,
So just turning the crank won't help,
You'll find your own ways along the way to success,
For those who loveth Gloom beware of the stony path,
That lies just in front of you,
It could be quite rough,
You could even hurt yourself,
So be careful and find a way to break free from the chains,
First don't give a random choice,
Keep thinking till you find the way to break from gloom,
Then you'll rejoin the path, which will obviously lead you to your Destiny,
It'll lead you to your Fate.

5. Victory

Victory isn't just glamour and all those big gangs,
Its hard work and hours even days of practice,
Practice and Work is thy alarm clock,
Will then only be thy day be filled with Victory,
Will then only be thy day to a head start,
A good start,
A Victorious fun Start,
And always better like that way,
Coz' that's the best way,
N' No matter what,
You should be on your own pace to the land,
The world,
The Land of Success,
N' remembers it-a long way so always have transport,
And only one in the world,
Where you life path lies,
And that is Success.

6. Smiles

When the smiles come onto thy face,
A day of happiness and joy will follow the time,
When the smiles came onto thy face,
Will then only be thy day be fun-filled;
This is better than your shy face you make,
Every time I ask thee to smile,
Every time I ask thee to not show me thy gloomy face,
Every time I ask you not to not be smiling,
Every time I ask thee to show your smiles,
And spread them on your own pace with your own Hearts.

7. The Sea floor

Where the turtles meet the floor,
Where the Clownfish never make me laugh,
Lies what I wonder,
Could Starfish swim as fast as a man?
Could Anemones feed fish?
Could the Coral reef shine as a diamond?
Could big fish sing?
Could mammals be made of gold?
Could Tomatoes grow?
I don't know what to do till I do something,
Something Useful,
Something that ain't worthless,
Something called "Hard work"

8. Ditch

Ditch isn't an action,
Neither is it good,
There are many hearts,
That is not built to endure that kind of pain
No such thing as enemies,
If existed I won't think,
Of Enemies or such things,
If you believe in that,
You better fall back on what you believe in,
Consider them all but nothing,
But your own,
Or rather the creation of our creation of the creator,
That will stay anonymous forever.

9. Sliding Off

That magic leaf that grew on the pond algae,
Was in its diameter,
No matter what much water,
Falls on the leaf,
It's easy for it to slide it off,
Mould ourselves into this kind of way,
Like the Lotus leaf within the pond algae,
Whatever comes that's bad just let it slide off,
Whatever comes that's good just contain it and don't let it slide,
IF cometh again the bad,
Just convert it,
Come on; it's not very hard,
You can do it for sure,
And cover your good so they don't bounce away,
So you dwell not in the devil's house.

10. Unity

Prefer Unity will you?
Prefer not more division,
Prefer Unity.
Prefer the wind that blew from the sea,
Prefer not the ceiling fan,
Prefer what creation,
Told us to prefer,
I think it's better to prefer to him.
Prefer to wheat and rice,
Prefer not to sweets and such,
Prefer to the grain he gave,
Rather than the things we made,
And Thank Prometheus for the tools he gave,
And thank that feel in Zeus to spare him,
From the pecking of birds,
For a so-considered sin that's crying over spilt milk,
So he could be in nothing but praise,
Refer to him,
Refer to Creation.

11. Fit in

Whatever is thrown thou should fit in like water,
Don't be back in your form,
Which thou were three or four days ago,
Oh! Thou can't do that! Or can thou,
What's on with thou honestly?
Thou can't do that ‘because it's not in thy blood,
Come on everyone be like this one,
Make it in your blood and rejoice,
Thou'll get the chance to suck the spilled grief,
From the canvas where life is based,
Always take care so thou are not in the devil's spoon,
But let the devil be in thy!

12. Treasure

Treasures are something to be found,
Maybe you saw a dead end,
But Who Cares?
There could be more clues,
Until you find em' all,
Don't say you're at dead end,
Go deeper into the last you received,
Even if others laughs at you,
Don't take it to heart,
Stay strong,
Everyone will regret it,
And shout for you,
Like look at him he's one of a kind!
And don't just stop at one,
Keep on till you find the greatest treasure,
And even not there,
Find a new Era.
