The Blame Game Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

The Blame Game

1.Blame it on Valentines Day
Blame it on Cupid
But if you were insensitive
Than maybe you were the one that was stupid

2.Blame it on chocalate
Blame it on them roses
Blame on the poets
And romantic proses
But if you were unkind
Yes, if you were mean
Than you were the one
Who was being unkeen

3.Blame it on the Government
Blame it on the Country
But don't take for granted her love
Or you'll loose her indeed
Buy her a card
Or something that will make her happy
But if it doesn't work
Don't blame it on me
Because it takes more than gifts
Yes it takes more than money
It takes kindness and a listening ear
You get more flies with honey
So if it's really your fault
Yes you can't find no one to blame
Tell her your sorry
And quit playing the Blame Game
