The Big Ocean Blue Poem by naomi deluca

The Big Ocean Blue

There's a sadness that hides behind your eyes
You smile & they do the same but I know,
There's a pain that lies in your sea of blue immensity

Your eyes blue but a blue filled with melancholy
The kind that the sea is when its waters are filled with griefs of others
Your eyes have rained many storms
And have no more water to rain again

There's an anger in your big blue's
The kind of anger that grabs you and hurts you
The kind of anger that's stabbing your insides

But there's happiness in your ocean
The kind that children laugh and play in
The happiness i make you stay in

There's a lover in your sea
The kind you show to me everyday
One who whispers blue words into me

There's a girl in your rivers
she swims forever, eternally but..
Its not me, you loved me more than
You did her, knowing this I understand
why there's so many stories that your big blue's tell

But my love for you is fierce
So let me drown in your pain with you.

A very good write. There is some sadness, but in the end you win. Keep up the good work. Your friend Lynn
