Nuclear weapons? !
the bible had 'em
so easy for God
to split the Adam
and to build a bomb(shell) ?
in one easy instruction?
(no rib to here tell
twas the Eve of Destruction!)
Then Cain's Able
to create more calamity
and murder's no fable
for the Nuclear family
thence the chain reaction
of moral decay -
and its fallout of hatred, unabated
poisoning us still
to this very day
Brilliant use of humour to make a powerful religious and political point. When will they ever learn? love, Allie xxxx
Hi, Chuck! You are so clever. In the midst of your play on words is a very clear and important message. (I just wish people would stop referencing poor Eve's little mistake! The poor woman 'got took' by the devil. The Jacksons were right, you know. 'One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch.' LOL) Excellent job! Have a wonderful day! Beth
For now, I will simply say, Mr. Audette: you rock! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Est : ]]]
Chuck, If eden was a decent garden, just as the Bible teaches, it kind of makes me wonder, what if Eve preferred the peaches? B.V.A.
Bravo! Kudos to the Punmaster! Once again you've written a prescription for a hefty dose of political chaos - what this world thrives on and you are so adept at describing. This poem was outstanding! Thanks for posting it. xo Janet
