The Best Speech Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Best Speech

Poetry speaks better and louder,
Than the loudest speech,
With just a few bright verses,
Has Universal reach.

Word power, depth and sincerity,
Poetry goes even farther, reaches above
Petty struggles, winning bravely thru Love.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I am so glad I read this poem, Sandra. It gives me peace, happiness, confidence and contentment. My father and my uncles always lay emphasis on public speaking and told me that I should be a good orator. But this poem has set in motion a wonderful chain of thoughts in my mind and has relieved me of those past burdens.

Written with love can only be read with love!

You are forgiven by Poetry for being biased toward Poetry. The Spirit of Poetry grants you a life-long reprieve from any and all censure! Sic. I don't know why I feel so tongue-tied lately. I've written ten poems recently but I am having trouble getting back to my routine of reading and commenting on other people's poems. And so I am plunging back in with this poem about how poetry blesses our lives.

Winning bravely thru Love; with the muse of poetry. Nice work.
