The Best Of Times Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Best Of Times

Rating: 5.0

Can’t control the vivid images that persist
In a mind that continually tries to resist
Don’t reminded me of what no longer exists...
A mesmerizing smile and a soft gentle kiss

Here and now replaces the breath of faded time
Yet persistent emotions spring forth and remind
I have come to recognize that reality combines…
As the past and present simultaneously bind

Acceptance and thankfulness go hand in hand
The best of times transfer to the next passage
With each beat of my heart I begin understand
Memories are a treasure… not excess baggage
