To your higher self try to live as true
And pay to all others the respect they are due
It is so easy in words for to drag others down
There are negative people in every town
Never do harm if good you cannot do
And treat others as you would like them to treat you
So many do fail the good person test
For to live with honour you can only do your best
You may not own a big and grand home and drive a new car
But these do not tell us of the person you are
Live and let live wisdom from a long gone day
By good example as a good person you can lead the way
You can be of benefit to humanity
By living to be the best that you can be.
