The Beginning Poem by Cody J Walker

Of withered dreams
And dark illusions
A man must travel
To find diffusion
To split the pain
He has suffered
And start a new
He always wanders
Night by night
He feels the pain
Changes a new
To a shadow domain
Darkness in and out if flows
Spreading nightmares as it goes
Scarring this
And freighting that
Taking the form of this or that
In the new form
He cannot control
But remember he does
The pain to show
He sucks the dreams of happiness
And leaves the one a deadly rest
Only when he scares his best
The may end
Or never it might
Of the dark prince's tale
On this dreary night.
