The Beginning
This is how it begins
Pain settles in, it sears the soul, it burns you whole
It leaves you empty, defeated, without recourse but acceptance
Acceptance is defeat, acceptance is letting go
Acceptance is numbness…it is the only way to survive
Numbness comes slowly until it devours everything
To live otherwise is to live in denial, futility, pain, and misery
…this is how it begins…The End…
