The Beauty of Poetry
Is within its sound
And beyond its music-

It is a rhythm
But something else also
Imperceptible
Unknown
Beyond –

Its meaning is it
But not all of it
And beyond music and meaning-

The beauty of poetry is its sound
And the way we hear it within us-

We are the beauty of poetry
We are the ones who hear
The poetry is us-

But the Beauty is more than what we are
Or more than the sound alone ever will be-

Is more than Poetry
More than Beauty
