The Beauty Dweller Poem by Imogene Wagner

The Beauty Dweller

A wispy pale green spider
WIth legs of matching thread
Crawled in a pink petunia
And calmly went to bed.

And in the morning waking
He looked around and chose
To wind his web stairway down
And breakfast in a Rose.

And then, his stomach sated,
Inspired by beauty's call
He built a dainty dream house...
I wish that I were small.
