The Beautiful Goddess Of Nature Poem by Francis Duggan

The Beautiful Goddess Of Nature

Rating: 3.3

The beautiful Goddess of Nature though her I am never to see
I can only hope to imagine how lovely indeed she must be
The beauty that she has created is everywhere all around me
I hear her birds sing in the parkland on bush and on shrub and on tree.

The beautiful Goddess of Nature she surely is the only queen
All other Monarchs are pretentious the beauty she creates is for all to be seen
She has all of the primary colours and every sort of a shade of green
In earthquakes she can show her anger but at peace she is calm and serene.

The beautiful Goddess of Nature of her just a little I know
The Earth Mother of all creations my wonder of her only grow
Her rivers born in the high country they babble their way to the sea
Her colours they change with her Seasons the Goddess of immortality.

The beautiful Goddess of Nature she never will grow old and gray
She gave life to all of us mortals and we'll return to her bosom one day
Her wild birds sing in her green Woodland the Monarch of all she survey
I love her as one of her subjects and homage to her I must pay.
