The Beast In Me Poem by Maselo George

The Beast In Me

To smile, I smile,
To laugh, I laugh,
But in me,
Hate breads,
A desire so confound,
In me another fire burns,
To hate is my curse inside,

To joke, I joke,
Humor is my liking,
In me,
Am drowned,
With a desire to kill,
Even those that I love,

In me,
A beast takes rest,
That’s my love,
From it my peace is derived,
From it I can`t run,
Coz in me it dwells.
