The Beast. Poem by Ryan Brodesser

The Beast.

Rating: 5.0

The beast has been cornered and hurt

The beast has been stabbed and is matted with blood, mud and dirt

Yet still the beats bares it's bloody fangs

Even as it is wracked with agonizing pains

The beast has been hunted across the lands

Fighting, surviving from brutal greedy hands

The beast has been chased around the world

And has seen a painful whorled

So even now, as it lies bloodied, beaten and chased by it's foes

The beast fights on in it's final throes.
