The Balance
Light vs. Dark
The dark always wins
Although the light fights
at night Dark begins.
To consume- 'cept the moon.
And yet, once a month
That leaves us too.
Eventually the light
Fights against the day.
The darkened shadows
Are chased away.
Although they return,
The balance never sways.
