Rating: 5.0

THE AUTUMN MELODY (Semodgomis melodia)

The cold autumn rain
Is drizzling
That sad melody
Down from the skies…

The wind steals
The dreamy flock
Of the clouds,
Carries away… and flies.

No smile at all,
No rebuking…
Just silence –
Acid and biting…

The moon rings
From the dome of the skies,
And throws the sparks
Into my eyes…

The cold autumn rain
I drizzling
That sad melody
Down from the skies…

Lovely but sad, it must have been the end of a glorious summer. Its autumn where I live but we have short warm sunny days to remind us winters on its way. this is a good time to meditate and reflect. You write very well Bob

May be i find the mood of the humans are Sad, gloomy, grieving, silent... on and on... The Monsoon and the Shower are same... Else The same Monsoon cannot be a Nectar to some And a pouring sadness to a few... This poem made me thinking.. about Rain, Clouds, Nectar and Human Sadness Nice read anyway...
