The August In The Night Poem by Ejalonibu Abraham

The August In The Night

When the day cries
Cloud of due sky burns
Full moon flashes of light,
Night exuded in dreams
Couples enter to duel of love
Red sun of monument raised
Loud cry of progenitor comes
Machine of devil-may-cry roars
The darkness comes to dine.
In valley when the spirit sings,
The august in the night
Come in with pride
Plunder and blight everyone's treasury
As the move away in flight.
